Ben Crockett is a proactive, passionate and progressive Chartered Accountant with over 25 plus years of experience in the accounting and tax field.
He has worked within accounting firms of different sizes within the Newcastle and Maitland NSW area, gaining a wide range of experience since beginning his career in 1999. His most recent prior appointment was as a founding director of a small accounting firm in Newcastle for eight years.
Looking for change and a new challenge he joined the well-established firm of Butlers in Newcastle in 2016.
Ben has experience in providing client specific advice including: business tax advice, income tax, tax structuring for new and existing businesses, CGT, GST, FBT, Small Business Concessions, State Taxes, Self-Managed Superannuation Fund and Trust Structures.
His experience also covers many industries including the Motor Vehicle Industry, Professional Industries, Trades, Retail, Wholesale, Medical, Transport and Commercial Property.
Ben is passionate about understanding each client’s business and the key drivers for profit and helping to achieve the client’s business and personal objectives.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys time with his family and has a strong interest in classic cars.
